All Mohawk Canoes have a serial number that begins with "MMN". This can be found on the original paperwork that came with your canoe from the factory or dealer, and it is also physically located on your canoe. The last two digits of the serial number tell the year of manufacture, although sometimes a canoe's manufactured date might be the year before or after the serial number date, depending if canoe was manufactured very early or very late in the year. To find out more information about your canoe, such as model, length, manufactured date, etc., you can go to our contact page to email us. Please be sure to include your serial umber. Sometimes including a picture of the canoe can help. https://www.mohawkcanoes.com/pages/contact
The serial number is a unique identifying number given to every canoe. Each canoe has a different serial number. All Mohawk Canoes' serial numbers begin with MMN. The last 2 digits of the serial number will tell the year the canoe was manufactured.
The serial number can be found on the original paperwork that came with the canoe from the factory or dealer. The serial number is also physically located on the canoe. It will be located on the right outside stern either on a metal plate or directly on the canoe (if the serial number is not located there, check under the deck plate on the interior bow).

CAUTION! is the resident shop dog at Mohawk Canoes. She can be found barking at work items with wheels (only when in motion), napping on her towel in the office, or roaming the length of the building alongside production machinery. Her current portfolio of tricks includes sit, lie down, and show me your fleas (with more currently being learned). She is proud to be a rescue dog from a local animal shelter. Her name is CAUTION!, spelled in all capital letters followed by an exclamation point (she has her rescue dog adoption papers as proof).
Shop dogs are dogs that are so cool and lovable that they are given special permissions and privileges to roam freely around the shop during working hours. Shop dogs are expected to provide entertainment, affection, and laughs from time to time. They receive treats, head pats, and scratches as compensation for good behavior. Legend has it that shop dogs never die, they just retire permanently to the back room where they are waited on hand and foot by the shop owner and employees.
